“I host these chargers. I don’t own them.”

This is common with many portfolios. It only changes who can buy a part, not whether it’s worth buying.

Two arrangements

Who owns the hardware at your sites

Some properties own their charging hardware and maintain it. Others have a charging network that owns and operates the equipment, holding the service contract while the property simply hosts it.

Both setups deal with the same worn tip. Only the owner can authorize work on the connector.

Your next step

Find out which arrangement you are in

No matter the setup, sort out who will buy the part first.

  • If you own the hardware

You can specify and buy the part directly. Send your make and model and we will confirm fit.

  • If a network owns it

Whoever owns the connector buys the part. Reach out to the operator who holds your service contract.

  • If you are not sure

Your service agreement will say who is responsible for a damaged connector. That is your answer.

  • If you operate networks yourself

There is a separate page for that. The economics change when the callout is yours.

You run the network side?

The situation is different when you own both the connector and the dispatch.

Either way

Tell us who owns your chargers

Even if a network owns your hardware, send us the details. Knowing which properties are affected helps us connect you with the right party.

No account and no card.

What happens next

  1. We confirm the tip fits your connectors from the make and model you send.
  2. We agree which site and how many stalls make sense to start on.
  3. We answer the specification questions your team will ask before anyone signs off.
